The LCC Workflow, Live

Processing interface and developer toolchain — the same pipeline behind every 3DGS model we host and deliver.

LCC processing UI — reconstruction, editing, and publishing in one tool.
LCC SDK & plugins — embed 3DGS in Unreal, Unity, and the web (this site runs the Web SDK).
CAPABILITIES

From Raw Scan to Deliverable

LCC is the processing engine behind every AECT project — AI classification, 3DGS reconstruction, and direct BIM export in one platform.

AI-Powered Classification

Automatic point cloud segmentation — floors, walls, ceilings, MEP, structural elements — reducing manual processing time by up to 80%.

3DGS Reconstruction

Native 3D Gaussian Splatting pipeline. Transform raw scan data into photorealistic, interactive 3D models viewable in any modern browser.

Point Cloud Processing

Full point cloud editing, cleaning, registration, and optimisation toolkit. Handle billions of points with hardware-accelerated rendering.

BIM Integration (Revit)

Direct export to Autodesk Revit via .lcc format. Bridge the gap between scan data and BIM models without intermediate conversion.

Format Conversion

Import and export across all major spatial data formats. No vendor lock-in — your data stays portable.

Cloud Viewer Hosting

Publish interactive 3D models to the LCC Cloud Viewer. Share a link — clients view in-browser, no software install required.

FAQ

Common Questions, Answered

What is LCC (Lixel CyberColor)?

LCC is XGRIDS' 3D Gaussian Splatting reconstruction and publishing platform. It turns XGRIDS captures into photorealistic 3DGS scenes, with the .lcc format about 80% smaller (one-fifth the size) of comparable open-source 3DGS data, and .lcc2 smaller again — and publishes to web, Unity, Unreal Engine, Revit, ArcGIS and NVIDIA Omniverse.

What is the difference between LCC and LixelStudio?

LixelStudio is the point-cloud processing workstation (SLAM processing, classification, measurement, floor plans, volumes). LCC is the 3DGS side — photorealistic reconstruction, editing and multi-platform publishing. Most AECT workflows use both from the same capture.

Does LCC integrate with Revit?

Yes — LCC for Revit provides AI Scan-to-BIM: automated detection of walls, floors, ceilings and MEP from the scan, feeding native Revit geometry. AECT runs this as a service and licenses it to teams.

Can clients view LCC scenes without installing software?

Yes. LCC Cloud publishes a private browser link — stakeholders explore the full 3D scene from a laptop, tablet or phone with no installs or viewer licences.

What are the LCC licence tiers?

LCC Basic covers unlimited single-scene 3DGS (view/navigate/record, cloud upload). LCC Premium adds the Revit plugin, HD Enhancement, Map Fusion (multi-scan), Aerial-Ground Fusion and aerial-only 3DGS. A Basic licence is bundled with every XGRIDS scanner sold by AECT.

How do I get LCC in Australia?

Through AECT Solutions, the official XGRIDS national distributor — licences, tier upgrades, onboarding and training, all supported onshore.
